On Acupuncture
To begin with, we asked Mr. Lee what he thought about acupuncture, and if practicing it for so many years contributed in any way to the development of his Light of Life method.
Acupuncture is a very effective modality for treating many different ailments and conditions. It has been around for a long time and has proven itself. My intuition is that acupuncture had its origins in energetic healing many, many years before the advent of viable needles. In earlier times, the meridians and points were not apprehended or determined through the experimental stabbing of certain points on the body, but by seers who were able to directly “know” the points. Similarly, they were able to “see” that certain herbs had particular healing powers. Later, due to population increases and upheavals and because many people did not have the energy to treat, they developed needles in order to trigger the healing effects from the physical level. When we visit museums, we see needles made of copper, bronze, and various other materials that are more than 2,000 years old, but are simply too crude to have been used for most of the points that had already been identified. The systematic treatment of various ailments and conditions through the use of points on the various meridians was already highly evolved before there were available instruments, which means that before the development of viable needles people simply used energetic manipulation to stimulate certain effects through meridians and points.
However, my practice of acupuncture did not directly contribute to the development of the Light-of-Life method. The questioning of some of the practices and seeking answers to how certain acupuncture procedures worked served as a trigger to remembering much knowledge relative to energetic healing. I simply recalled this body of knowledge incrementally over a period of time. I want to note that it is not confined simply to healing. The Light-of-Life process is a complete and extensive body of knowledge that utilizes multi-dimensional energetics. I don’t even need to be in the same room with someone. I can be outside walking down the street and the energy will transcend the walls or any other material obstructions. I accomplish this through intent.
The Light-of-Life process is based on the use of an external source of light energy. You might say that it has its own awareness and intelligence. We are able to direct this energy source to meridian points to elicit manifestations and desirable changes--not unlike the use of needles, except that it is even more powerful.
I do not use needles, but at the same time, because of my knowledge of the acupuncture meridians and points, I sometimes use the expediency of directing energy at certain points to trigger the responses I desire. I do use my knowledge of the meridian points as well as the chakra centers in treating people. Other times I only use specific energetic patterns that meet certain needs. People who have acquired the Light of Life energy can now practice acupuncture without the use of needles.
He adds that even now, as he is talking to us, the energy is radiating out from him. Today we all know that the electric light exists, so we can talk about it and make comparisons, but in ancient times nobody knew of such a thing, so they couldn’t explain it. In the same way, in the future we will be able to understand and explain the workings of this energy in ways that are still inexplicable.
We told him that we attended the Induction of Energy workshop and benefited in many ways. He commented that this energy enables one to have direct knowledge, improves one’s health, enhances youthfulness, and revitalizes the body. It works at a very deep level. “I have not yet written anything about this knowledge, so there is much that is still hidden. Through my ability to see and intuit, and because the process originates with me, no one has been able to add unnecessary ritual or ceremony to it. This is a pure and unadorned method of effecting change."
We talked to some friends about the Light of Life, but they said that it was the same as Reiki. Mr. Lee said he did not know much about Reiki, but many Reiki practitioners have attended his workshops and some have told him that his method is much more powerful.
I think it would be presumptuous for people to claim to know what I do without actually experiencing it. Reiki practitioners say that they are using the universal energy. This is a generic term that people in the past used for lack of a definitive knowledge and an adequate terminology of what energy is about relative to the reality of the time. What does it mean: “universal energy"? It means all the energy there is in the universe. . . . Nobody can access all of the energy of the universe. Indeed, everything in the universe is energy.
Our scientific language can now define a continuum of energetic frequencies that exist, at least on this plane of existence. Today we know that the energetic spectrum is divided into many different segments: microwaves, radio waves, x- rays, cosmic rays, and so on. “We know better than to use x-rays to heal,” he says, laughing.
There are hundreds of energetic modalities around the world, whether for healing or in shamanic practices, that employ energy. It goes without saying that they are not all the same. We can say that all of these modalities use certain portions of the universal energetic make-up. In the more mundane, everyday reality, just as there are many different styles of t’ai-chi and other martial arts, many different ways to build houses, so there are many different dimensional energetic continuums.
"I started to share this knowledge only five or six years ago, so there aren’t many people who have the ability to access the energy directly. Some people cannot accept the fact that I did not learn it from anyone. Not unlike Mozart, who I believe did not create music, but retrieved it, or remembered it from his experience of the higher spheres. . . . And now I am sharing this knowledge in an unconditional way,” he says.
We read somewhere that a person who knows how to heal should also know how to kill. You have also said that there are two complementary forces in the universe. Is your kung-fu practice intended as a counterpart to your healing practice?
He maintains that this energy to which he has access is totally benevolent. You can use it to transform negativity or expel it, he says. You don’t have to retain the negative energy which is not compatible with your well-being. When the negativity is dissolved, all that remains is love. “Love is the cohesive force of the universe,” he affirms.
My study of kung fu was for practical as well as for philosophical reasons. The serious practice of kung fu is about learning about your own being, exploring and knowing yourself. The true purpose of its practical application is for self-defense.
Do you see any difference between people who come to you after having followed some other spiritual paths and the people who instead have never done anything before?
Sometimes it is easier to work with somebody who has not done anything before, because otherwise a person has some points to defend,” he answers, and points to the example of those friends of ours who said, “This is Reiki.” While it is good for one to take proper pride in one’s knowledge base, it should not create a prejudice to further enlightenment.
Could your Light of Life possibly be the same as the Prana of the Yogis or the Holy Spirit of the Christians?
I don’t know; I’m not interested in making comparisons. It is for others to explore the differences among various practices and traditions for themselves. He adds that certain systems of belief are attached to different energetic practices. The Light of Life is something that he can transmit energetically through the Induction process, and since this happens beyond the rational mind, there can be no mistakes. I never ask those who come to me about their religious or philosophical orientation. The Light of Life enhances everything one pursues.
Is it possible that certain ancient masterpieces of art could work at a higher energy level?
Yes, there are works of classical music, paintings, and writings that transmit a great deal of energy from, you might say, a portal from other dimensions, something that the artist was able to establish through a certain artistic or written expression. So in a way these masterpieces are doorways to more profound depths of reality.
Most everything that happens in this reality has already been done somewhere else in other parts of the universe or in other dimensions. Indeed, everything in this reality is deja vu.
There are some teachers who claim that mankind is on a descending path . . . that we are living in the darkest age of history, the so called Kali-Yuga or final times. . . . He doesn’t agree. “I’m more optimistic,” he says, explaining that if one looks at the course of history one realizes that we are evolving. For instance, even the ancient Mayans had a dark side, the human sacrifices. And there are many instances in the the past when humanity was mired in darkness.
Many of these teachers are just philosophers and all they do is intellectualize; they don’t do anything. He affirms that sometimes intelligent people want everybody else to live as they wish. “But this is not possible, it doesn’t happen, or if it happens it may last a few hundred years, because in such periods people are often under the influence of tyrannical force,” he concludes, adding that this kind of philosopher often ends up very frustrated.
"This is an incremental and cumulative reality,” he says. He comments that he “remembered” that all knowledge is already “out there” and comes into the world and is made relevant when added to the current knowledge base. So he sees that knowledge and enlightenment are expanding in this period of time. Enlightenment is about having the energy to raise one’s vibration and awareness, not about intellectual musing.
So, do you think that mankind is evolving?
He says he thinks so, but many persons say that they want to change, when actually they are not willing to. “Nobody can come and save us at the last minute. We all have to come together in true humility and evolve. We have to increase our awareness by any proper means,” he stresses. “Sometimes when we try to talk to others there is no understanding, so we create new words, and still to no avail. But when the person reaches a higher level of awareness by inhabiting more light they have an immediate understanding. Usually, on our tridimensional level, we can see just one thing at a time, but when we elevate our vibrations we can see all possible solutions as if from above."
